- 27,000 sq. ft. (180 ft. wide x 150 ft. long).
- Hangar door: 160 ft. wide x 35 ft. high.
- Will be used by Lufthansa to refurbish wide-body aircraft.
- First aircraft hangar project in the U.S.
- The building’s exterior is finished with metal cladding.
- The building’s structure is composed of Murox® shop-fabricated load-bearing wall panels as well as conventional steel structures fabricated by Murox® and assembled directly onsite.
- Five months from design to final construction.
- Erection began on August 28, 2008.
