 | ADI Limited earns Honourable Mention for the fall of 2010
Canam’s Honourable Mention for the fall of 2010 is conferred upon the consulting engineering firm ADI Limited for the CCNB-Edmundston Campus community college project in Edmundston, New Brunswick.
In each edition of Canam Info-Tech, an Honourable Mention is conferred upon the consulting engineering firm that resolved a complex problem at the project design stage by making optimum use of Canam products and/or solutions. Other factors taken into consideration include adherence to the construction budget, alternative solutions that generate major cost savings, easier installation and simplified project coordination.
Canam Canada collaborated with ADI Limited on the design of Canam steel products for the new CCNB building on the Edmundston campus of the Université de Moncton. In addition to designing and fabricating the joists, girders and steel deck, Canam produced special joists that have curved bottom chords with plates to emphasize the project’s architectural features.
The components for this special project were fabricated at the St. Gédéon de Beauce and Boucherville plants in Quebec.
Congratulations to the entire ADI Limited team for distinguishing itself at the design and detailing stages of this project.
