Welcome to the 13th edition of Canam Info-Tech. As you know, Canam Group is committed to participating in sustainable development efforts in the communities in which it operates. Canam Group has been a member of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) since 2008 and now has three LEED® Accredited Professionals (LEED APs).

:: LEED AP accreditation
Having recently earned my LEED AP accreditation, I am now able to inform industry professionals on issues concerning the requirements of LEED Canada-NC version 1.0.


With a greater understanding of the LEED certification process and the various disciplines in the building industry, LEED APs are empowered to improve integrated design principles. In addition, they are sensitized to environmental protection in all its forms and consequently are motivated to support and encourage a greener future.

:: Changes to the LEED AP Accreditation Program
Changes to the LEED AP Accreditation Program in 2010 will include three levels of excellence:

  • Tier 1: LEED Green Associate
  • Tier 2: LEED AP with Specialization
  • Tier 3: LEED AP Fellow
