Serge graduated from Sherbrooke University in 1994 with a degree in civil engineering. He joined Canam the following year as a civil engineer specialized in structures and construction. Early in his career, Serge worked on a number of complex projects in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. In 1996, he was transferred to Canam’s business location in France where he took part in a major industrial project. His mandate completed, he was subsequently entrusted with the technical development of the French steel joist market. Serge returned to Quebec in January 2000 and joined the Hambro division where he was appointed chief engineer four years later. Since 2009, Serge has held the position of Technical Manager at the Canam International and Construction division. His responsibilities include providing technical support to both internal and external customers for Canam’s steel deck and purlin and girt products.
Serge holds the title of Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Quebec as well in as five other Canadian provinces.
