Canam Canada’s Project of the Quarter
Moncton Palladium wins top honours for second quarter of 2009
The Palladium, one of three buildings that make up the new casino complex in Moncton, NB, has earned Canam Canada’s Project of the Quarter award for the second quarter of 2009. This project, a 57,400-square-foot (5330 m2) entertainment and convention facility, consists of over 300 tons of joists, joist girders and steel deck. The components were fabricated in the St. Gédéon and Boucherville plants and delivered in May and June 2009. Canam’s customer, steel fabricator Titan Metals Group Ltd., will receive a framed photograph of the project as an expression of Canam’s appreciation.
