Canam Canada’s Project of the QuarterProject of the Quarter: Northeast Avalon Arena wins top honours

The Northeast Avalon Arena in Torbay, Newfoundland, has earned Canam Canada's Project of the Quarter award for the fourth quarter of 2007. This project, covering a surface area of 3,700 m2 (40,000 sq. ft.), consists of over 250 tons of joists and steel deck. The components were fabricated at the St. Gédéon de Beauce and Boucherville plants and delivered during October and November of 2007. Technyx, another business unit of Canam Group, also took part in this project. The customer, steel fabricator Skyway Steel Ltd. of St. John’s, Newfoundland, will receive a photograph of the project as an expression of Canam’s appreciation.
