George Poumbouras - Biographical Notes


		George Poumbouras Manager, Business Development

In 1983, Mr. Poumbouras graduated from McGill University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He then continued his studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he obtained a master’s degree in civil engineering in 1984. After graduating, Mr. Poumbouras began his career as a project engineer at Lavalin. In 1995, he joined Canam Group, where he worked for five years as a project manager. In 2000, he became customer service manager at Sun Building Systems, a business unit of Canam Group. In 2001, he joined Murox^® in the capacity of project manager and since 2002, has held the position of business development manager. Mr. Poumbouras is a member of l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
