Canam Info-Tech... 8th edition... Now two years old!

The November 2007 edition of Canam Info-Tech is now available on Canam Canada’s homepage.

This edition includes an invitation from the editor to come and meet the members of the Canam Canada team who will be manning a booth at Construct Canada, the largest building products and construction trade show in Canada, from November 28 to 30 in Toronto.

The article related to steel joists and joist girders examines joist reinforcement during construction or in existing structures. The topic of steel deck is explored through an article that explains how to use the five online calculation tools developed by Canam Canada to assist consulting engineers in selecting the steel deck products best suited to their projects. Paint application methods are also discussed in this edition, as well as the paint colors available and equipment used in the company’s Canadian plants.

Canam’s Honourable Mention for November 2007 goes to the Pluritec - Ims Experts-Conseils consortium for the construction of the Alphonse-Desjardins Sports Complex in Trois Rivières, Quebec.
