Canam to deliver 675 tons for new Velcro warehouse

Canam Canada is poised to deliver approximately 675 tons of joists, steel deck and joist girders for the construction of a new Velcro distribution center in Somersworth, New Hampshire.

The steel components for this 202,000-square-foot (18,766-m²) building were fabricated at Canam’s Quebec-based plants in Boucherville and St. Gédéon de Beauce. Deliveries are slated to begin in the coming weeks.

Canam’s customer for this project is Novel Iron Works, Inc. of Greenland, NH. Velcro is a global organization and the industry leader in hook and loop fasteners.
