Canam Canada wins contract for Aero Toy Store hangar

Quirion Métal Inc. of Beauce, Quebec, has awarded Canam Canada the contract to fabricate over 275 tons of joists and steel deck for an Aero Toy Store hangar. The 52,000-square-foot (4,830-m2) building will be located in Dorval, Quebec.

The steel joists will be 160 feet long with a variable depth. Fabrication is scheduled for October and November 2007. The joists will be produced at the St. Gédéon, QC plant and the steel deck at the Boucherville, QC plant. Deliveries will start in mid-October.
